Volumes have been said on this topic, and the bickering and discord about where the "hot" slot machines are installed in a casino are still happening – over 60 years after the slot machines were 1st added to the gaming floor in gambling dens.

The classic rule is that the very best slot machine games were placed just inside the entry of the casino; so that persons passing by would see real jackpot winners and be challenged to come unto the gambling floor … play. Our leaning is that this is not so anymore.

And the very last thing a casino wants is for someone to win a jackpot by playing only a few coins and then not stay to put it all back in!
